2016
There is a shortage of affordable housing in the city of Gaborone, Botswana. Much of its people working and studying in the city live in villages outside of the city and commute in. In an effort to help with the housing needs, the government has established the Self Help Housing Agency. However, its housing solution has not been taken up by many residents because of problems with costs. This housing proposal offers a variation on the standard SHHA housing solution already in place in order to provide cheap housing solutions and promote stronger community.
